This week‘s guest is an amazing positive and inspiring author and my very first metastatic breast cancer thriver! Eboney is the author of a memoir titled “The Hustle Journey“. Eboney is also a single mom to four amazing and beautiful children.
Originally in 2018, Eboney and doctors believed she had a respiratory infection, however xrays, scans and many doctor and hospital stays later, Eboney was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
I want to share a quote from Eboney that describes so beautiful her purpose and the depth of her amazing faith, “Cancer didn’t happen to me, it happened for me”. Eboney is determined to be a stepping stone for others and to use her experience with cancer to inspire love, positivity and support.
Eboney has created a positive support group on Facebook called “The Healing Factor” that helps others with wigs, oncology expertise, and skincare changes. Not to mention the power of community and love. There is one rule, “be positive“ as Eboney describes many other groups as being negative and not solution based.
