DJ BREAST CANCER

A Podcast on Tina's Breast Cancer Journey, a "Girlfriend's Guide" to Breast Cancer.

Tina's story must be told.  She has lived the breast cancer journey both as the survivor and the daughter of one.  Tina knows both sides of the story.  She has been the ears that have heard, the eyes that have watched, and the hand holder.  She too has been the body that has been sick, weak, and worn.  Her soul has come forward with unyielding optimism about her own future and that of her fellow survivors.  Through her experiences, those affected by breast cancer will find inspiration that they too can hope for a promising future that will wipe away the pain of the past, replacing it with joy and gratitude.  Sit back and listen in to her inspirational Podcast debut, DJ Breast Cancer.

Helping one person...

Its amazing the power of our voices, our words and our hearts! Together, we are louder, more purposeful and sparkling. The last month has been so busy with many guest spots on other podcasts. First, I was on Escaping the Doldrums Episode 53 wit Nicholas Ley. He is a local podcaster and we might collaborate on my season 2. He has graciously volunteered to produce for me, which would allow me to focus on content and my social media.

Next, I was a guest on The Cansurvivor Network with Kelsey. She is a breast cancer survivor like me, devoted to helping other survivor. We met on Instagram and immediately connected! She is also going to be a guest on my Season 2. We are also working on a Podcast-palooza” as I affectionately have called with Emily Garnett.

I was also also a guest on The Patient Story. Founder Steph is devoted to helping patients and caregivers navigate through a diagnosis. It’s amazing how sharing your story can connect you and form relationship.

Recently I have met listeners in NYC and California that have told me my podcast has made an impact on them. I started this whole thing with a dream, my story and a passion, added a microphone and made that dream a reality. I honestl didn’t know if the only listener would be my mom, but to hear from others means the absolute world. With tears in my eyes I read an email from a survivor with a journey so similar to mine. I started this in Sandy’s memory, in hopes of helping one person.

Now, I realize with the help of other, we can make a difference in the lives of many!! Podcasters unite, let our voices be heard!!
