DJ BREAST CANCER

A Podcast on Tina's Breast Cancer Journey, a "Girlfriend's Guide" to Breast Cancer.

Tina's story must be told.  She has lived the breast cancer journey both as the survivor and the daughter of one.  Tina knows both sides of the story.  She has been the ears that have heard, the eyes that have watched, and the hand holder.  She too has been the body that has been sick, weak, and worn.  Her soul has come forward with unyielding optimism about her own future and that of her fellow survivors.  Through her experiences, those affected by breast cancer will find inspiration that they too can hope for a promising future that will wipe away the pain of the past, replacing it with joy and gratitude.  Sit back and listen in to her inspirational Podcast debut, DJ Breast Cancer.

“What’s Your Plan?” with Lauren Neuburger, Nutritious Delicious Life

Lauren of Nutritious Delicious Life is an inspiration of passion, purpose and a plan in a life after cancer! This week’s guest recalls a life of accounting and a job she didn’t really love. Diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 26, she was surprised that there was no plan after cancer!

Fast forward to this crazy world we are living in, all the fears of Covid19 and there are so many practical tips in this podcast episode that I know you will find helpful. I have put them into place this week when I felt lost. Lauren describes writing out her crazy each morning. There is something about writing it out that frees you of that worry, or lessens its hold on you.

This week I wrote some mantras right next to my work station. This is my ”Covid19” Plan. I am a planner, a list maker, I like to make goals and plan on how to achieve those goals. I am learning to have a daily plan and focus on the present. I am trying to be intentional about my day.

Here are my daily mantras:

  • Find joy in every day

  • Do not wish this time away

  • Focus on today (don’t get too ahead of yourself)

  • Don’t forget to move! Laugh! Smile!

Lauren runs a 12 week program for breast cancer survivors in all areas of their lives. If you are struggling trying to find a new normal, a plan I strongly encourage you to reach out https://www.nutritiousdeliciouslife.com/
