Tina's story must be told.  She has lived the breast cancer journey both as the survivor and the daughter of one.  Tina knows both sides of the story.  She has been the ears that have heard, the eyes that have watched, and the hand holder.  She too has been the body that has been sick, weak, and worn.  Her soul has come forward with unyielding optimism about her own future and that of her fellow survivors.  Through her experiences, those affected by breast cancer will find inspiration that they too can hope for a promising future that will wipe away the pain of the past, replacing it with joy and gratitude.  Sit back and listen in to her inspirational Podcast debut, DJ Breast Cancer.

Research is the answer!!




Season 2, Episode 1 kicks off with a cause. Lynda Houk, Executive Director for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research chats with me about the importance of research, getting a second opinion during a diagnosis, and strides being made in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). There have been great strides in understanding and treating Estrogen positive and Her2 positive breast cancers. TNBC is basically everything else and a big unknown, this article is an interesting read of progress made in understanding and potentially treating TNBC.


Research is the only answer. As a ”now” culture we want everything fixed now. With friends fighting cancer in the trenches, I want answers now!!! They deserve answers and options and a future.
